Store Variant Comics - Which one’s I’ve picked up & why?

I have a love/hate relationship with store variants covers. Check out which ones I’ve picked up recently and hear what drew me to them.

Great video! I think that a lot of collectors don’t like exclusive variants for a few reasons. For one they seem to be a never ending rabbit hole, when you get one, others follow and your never done collecting. The other reason is, I think they feel the store exclusives diminish what they have already collected. A third reason is, it seems, store exclusives are a flippers game, where you have to pay the trolls to complete your collection. I think the key is moderation and patience and realizing that you can’t get everything.

I have most of what you showed and just like you...battle with jumping on store variants or not. I was horrible earlier in the year, but have been slowing it down recently. Maybe we can start a support group to help us out!

A couple of recent Heavy Metal Magazine issues have Peach Momoko interior art. If I remember correctly, issues #288 and #290, both, have illustrated stories by her.

I rarely want the exclusive or variant covers. I have bought them though. Mostly I just buy whatever cover is put into my pull list.

I don't mind store variants. We are living in the variant era and sometimes the store variants are better to collect. I couldn't agree with you more, I just buy what I like and spec on some Hot books from time to time.

I used to get lots of store variants etc but I’ve seen so many lose value I don’t now. I wait and they tend to come down. I just stick to cover A’s and the incentive variants (sometimes). I get a wider variety of comics sticking to Cover A’s rather than blowing a load of money on one book

I think that variant covers are out if control I can't stop buying them. I limit the buying to only titles I'm reading.

I’m kinda new to cómics and only thing I don’t like about the variants is that they’re usually way more expensive than just the A i see them in my lcs for like 15 release day bruh it’s just a variant chill please
