Bass LOVE The Lunkerhunt Phantom Spider!

The LUNKERHUNT Spider is one of the most innovative bass baits to hit the market in a long time. There's been lots gimmicks thrown at anglers over the years but this is a bait that does not disappoint!

The spider is freaky because it has amazingly real action when you retrieve it. It’s just amazing and one of my new favorite baits this year!

I used to fish a public park with a few ponds, one with scum, one that was fairly clean, and one with pads throughout. On the scummy and pad ponds this lure outfished any other frog I threw in there. I threw finesse frogs, big frogs, your standard sized frogs… nothing compared to the spider. It goes through and even under pads and seems to always find its way through the pads instead of sitting flat on top of them. Perfect finesse topwater in my opinion

Caught 2 today on the bigger version..4 lb. & 2 1/2 lb...they killed it! Spinning gear, 30 lb. Braid...great hookup! This finesse type setup will always be in the kayak! I'm impressed with the spider...couldn't get them to hit the frog today

I bought the black version because I’m too impatient for my box to get here. I was getting nothing yesterday until I started throwing the spider. Unfortunately my daughter was tired but I had one huge blowup.

They look amazingly real, way, way too real. As a long time member of the Arachnophobia Club, this might not be the best bait for me.

Love the phantom spider! Mine’s starting to take in water and sink soon after landing. Any tips on how to keep it on top of the water? Is there a small float or something we can shove into the body to help it?

I threw that bait this morning, had one blowup but no hooking and no action. My lake's shoreline is all rock, boulders to softball size to ledges. No shoreline vegetation. I tossed into shallow shaded areas, v-e-r-y slow soft jerk retrieves, since spider often stay in one spot for awhile before moving. You're fishing in high vegetation areas. Do you think that's a better environment to fish the spider?
