Florida first place I heard steel drums with some awesome Jamaican dudes at a bar. Man do i regret not buying ine of their CD's. The elderly man on the steel drums was tearing it up. He was playing so fast at times and not even looking. I gave a tip but wish I purchased a CD from them!!!! It was an awesome trip

So I watched the Mario movie when it came out 3 days ago... I've been listening to peach's theme recently because I love the arrangement in the movie and now that I think about it, the melody has kind of a Calypso feel to it (mainly in the note intervals themselves), as does alot of Mario music...
The song at 16:45 has a similar melody if you only consider the important notes
