Deep fried cod fish with a Nashville hot sauce

Deep fried cod fish costed in Nashville hot sauce. This was absolutely amazing. Cut your fish into strips then add them to corn starch, after toss them in your wet batter and fry them at 350 degrees for about 1.5 min. Then coat in Nashville hot sauce. Amazing

Wet batter

1 cup cornstarch , 1/4 cup reserved for coating
1/4 cup flour
1 tablespoon paprika
1 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
1 3/4 teaspoon coarse salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cups water

1/4 cup cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 cup the oil you are using to fry with.

This is actually a pretty popular Dutch snack. It's called kibbeling or lekkerbek if you do it in larger shape. It's really good and I'm glad u did this one
