How To Connect USB Microphone To PS5

You can use an external plug and play microphone on your PS5, if you do things like gaming online with other players, just to make sure your sound quality is top notch.

Connect the USB side of the microphone cable to any USB port on your PS5. As soon as it is detected, you can make the necessary adjustments such as select the microphone you have just connected as the sound output device, as well as adjust the microphone volume of the microphone in the settings.

Great video, but i have a i stream on twitch, i have my wireless RODE mics connected to my PS5... they work fine and my viewers can hear me fine... HOWEVER.... i can't speak to the people i play with or play against in the game, the only way i can do that is if i plug my headset with a mic into my controller which then cancels out my RODE Mic audio.... how do i fix this, how do i get both mics to work at the same time so i can talk to my stream and to my teammates and opponents at the same time????

It doesnt work for me. When i plug in my microphone and select that and I speak there is no sound in my Video. Just the Controller mic is working even it isnt selected. Also there is an echo. Help!
