Finally relocated my mom to MD. Had a little honeymoon period. Mom can be a bit abrasive at times and sometimes I get defensive and push back. I want to be more diplomatic instead of over reacting. It’s not easy bc I sometimes take things as an insult. it’s not the issue but moms tact and tone. Mom does have a little dementia so it’s frustrating trying to rationalize with her. I am at peace with my decision to relocate mom to my home in MD. Have to work on my communication and to take a time out before I respond in frustration
