I’m confused about the NPC’s autonomously asking out other sims. I was really hopeful that would be a base game update and it would also add another option to neighborhood stories like “Break up with partner/get a partner” and maybe even NPCs proposing to my sims. With that gameplay available in the high school pack it seems like an easy thing to bring into the whole game.

a cool video idea would be a tier list of all base game updates, this one, the stairs, half walls, skin tones, terrain tool, the doors and windows colors, even toddlers!

The only thing I'm still missing in Sims 4 is the memory mechanic from Sims 2, it was so nice to build up a whole story with your Sims and them actually remembering it, and seeing their different thoughts/reactions on events and achievements based on their personalities. Everything in the Sims 4 seems unimpactful in the long run.

One thing that I think needs to be updated is Fans/Followers and the Social Media in Sims 4. There's so many systems that use these three things but none of them interact with eachother. Your Fans/Followers that you get from Social Media aren't the same that you get from the new streaming and influencer system, that aren't the same as the old streaming and video editing and it's different from the followers from the new Social Media
It would be nice if they all worked under the same framework/system.

The words “asexual” & “aromantic” being said in the post when I read it last week genuinely made me scream, I was so happy & I just couldn’t sit still. I know we’ve had “unflirty” for a while but you can be uncomfortable with flirting or bad at it without being aro or ace so it wasn’t quite the same, plus I never used that trait to make a sim either of those because I wouldn’t want it to be a trait, that just takes up other slots & why bother with that. Plus it’s a “negative” trait so. Anyways. I. Am. So. Happy. I’m aroace myself & I just want to be represented 🙏🧡

Watch out, fellas. The glitch will sims age up without warning. So turn off the auto age for npc sims. Trust me

I’m glad that we’re getting wants and fears, I just wish we could get consequences/benefits for fulfilling them. Like how in Sims 2 if you fulfill wants the aspiration meter goes up but if you fulfill fears or ignore wants your sim will go in aspiration failure and will need therapy to go back up again.

to mosey around having to choose female or male for a sim, I think feminine frame vs. masculine frame is a good way to solve that issue. they have Feminine and Masculine filters for clothes, which I think would make sense if they had you choose between masculine and feminine frames from the start. those filters would then just become what clothes fit the shape of each frame best. how humans are built is pretty binary (what body you're born as ya know like anatomy). biologically, estrogen vs testosterone create feminine vs masculine frames of people. i think this concept is less girl vs boy and more how you want your sim to be built without saying Female and Male. ya know?

Im hyped about curved walls, Im just hoping we eventually get spiral stairs so it fits in better I watched yr other video and stairs were hard to place, lets hope for spirals...thanks for sharing 👍😊

in all the pile of updates, no one has noticed being able to send sims to their university classes early, which is huge! my sims who live in the same neighbourhood as their classes were always late before, as they wouldn't just teleport from the front of the lot and would need to schlep across campus. it only triggered to send them to class at the class start time so they would often miss it or be super super late because they were walking/biking. i'd often resort to clicking in front of the class and try to force them to hover there until the class started to prevent them from being late, which was annoying as hell. i've been wishing they'd update this since discover uni came out like 3 years ago, and they've FINALLY provided a fix!
