How to zip a file with WinZip

In this super, quick tutorial, you will learn how to zip multiple files in WinZip using drag and drop and the file panes.

In the Files pane on the left, navigate to the folders where your files are located.

In the Actions pane on the right, choose the 'Convert & Protect Files' settings you need.

Scroll to Save or Share Zip area in the Actions pane
choose Save as...or click 'To PC or Cloud' on the top menu ribbon bar to save your new zip file.

In the Save to PC or Cloud window, choose a local or cloud destination for the Zip file, type a file name, and click Save.

If you want to share the files directly, you can choose one of the sharing options in the Action pane under Save or Share Zip.

QUICK TIP: WinZip Pro lets you add multiple accounts for a cloud service. For example, if you have a Google Drive for work and for personal use, you can add both accounts. Use nicknames to identify them in WinZip.
