1:30 For anyone wondering, 1 byte is actually 8 bits, however, byte is not always 1 character. The size of a charcter depends on how the character is encoded, this means ASCII characters in the ASCII enodcoding will be 1 byte long, Unicode characters on the other hand are 1 to 4 bytes long (can be bigger depending on encoding)

2:09 no, this doesn't mean there can bу an amount up to 8 figures of characters! It means there can be 2 to the power of 8 characters, because it's binary, not decimal

I'm a computer engineering student and you explained this better than most of my professors, good job 👍🏿

Wow what an excellent explanation! I've always wondered how it worked and now I know! We also did Huffman Coding last week in CS class at my University and this is essential the same technique just applied on a much larger scale. Thanks guys I really enjoyed this one 😃

This was great!! One more question of the universe is solved... Thank you!!!

Bro, I immediately recognized Falcon's voice and was like nah, then double checked to make sure I wasn't on gameranx... Mind blown!!!

Learning about ROMs for the first time ever and I stumble across a 6 year old video with a voice I recognize from another channel… my brain broke for about 10 seconds. 🤣

That was a brilliant explanation for zip files. I managed to understand it all. Nice one Falcon
philcostello
and then there's that one zip file that is 42 kilobytes but when extracted it just extracts like 4.5 petabytes of data and crashes PCs. A Zip Bomb. Scary stuff
AstralPandaBoi
Thaaaanks! Just spend 10 full minutes looking for the explination. Every other thing on the internet was "What is a zipfile" and "how to zip". But now I got it, nice!
