I started making YouTube videos in 2022 showing a remote cabin build near a glacier in Alaska. Then I quit. This video explains and shows why I took a 30 month break.

A hut? Looks more like a palace! Balloon/conventional framing is still the best bang for the buck, it helped settle the West, as compared to log construction. I once expounded on this while doing crane work on a log structure going up on an Indian Rez on a lunch break, and only after I said it realized I was the only non native guy there, oops! We all started laughing at the same time....
