I retired after 15 years on the road. I've been to the Iowa 80 more times than I can count. Thank for bringing back great memories for myself and my daughter who followed in her Mom's footsteps. If you ever want advice on some really cool truck stops, I'm your girl. Thanks so much for this. Safe travels!!

I'm a second generation truck driver. My wife is also a truck driver. Now that we have a set schedule that allows us more home time together. Things are alot smoother in our relationship. I'd say for the first year or two we made it a sight seeing tour of America. It can legit be the best time of your life. So I know how you guys feel traveling together like you do.

Don't feel guilty about staying 24hrs there. You're paying for the EXPERIENCE that a lot of us won't get to have. This is why we live vicariously through you and love your vids!!! <3

Thank you so much for this. My dad has been a truck driver for over 35 years. He is normally gone for 5 to 6 months at a time but only home for about 3 to 4 days when “off”. Thank you to all the drivers especially during this last year. They are the super heroes of the road! 💙

As a retired long haul trucker, I have to say that this is one of the least offensive videos on trucking I've seen. To their credit, they ask reasonable, intelligent questions, genuinely seeking to understand the driver's life. For a tiny, encapsulated view of life on the road, this is a really good video. And the Iowa 80 trucks top really is one of the best. I used to stay overnight there regularly.

My husband and I are both "OG Rvrs" lol. I've been driving truck for 25 years and he's been driving for probably 40 years (started on a farm). We are going to IOWA 80 this Saturday. I haven't been in 25 years and my husband has never been. I was so happy to see that you were doing a video on this place. Be safe! Happy travels!

as a retired trucker I can tell you you went to bed too early. After dark is when the parking lot comes alive and all the cool stuff happens.

I'm glad you have put together this video, giving a glimpse into the life of an OTR (over the road) driver. Many drivers will not just stop for their mandatory 10 hour off duty break, many will take their 34 hour weekly break at this time of center.

Thank you for such a great video showing appreciation for truckers. We all need remember that every single thing we ever bought in any store was brought there by a trucker, and we really couldn't do without them

I feel like my two worlds have collided yet again on YouTube. I am a big rig driver (32 wheeler) overseas and I am also a subscriber of this channel. It's interesting to see what the biggest truck stop in the world is like. Loved this episode! I wish we had more health food stops for truckies, because more truck drivers, especially us younger ones are becoming more health conscious. Thanks for a great video!

OMG! This has been one of my favorite videos! My stepfather drove a truck for many years, so I have a lot of respect for truckers ... I KNOW how hard they work. MEGA RESPECT for truckers ... keep on truckin'!!!! And THANK YOU!!

Josh, you're the MVP for showing us all your truck. And Nate, I appreciate the half hour it must have taken you to film all those shots of you going for coffee in the morning. All while Kara sleeps, I'm sure : )

Oh man, this brought back SO MANY memories!! My papaw, my dad, and my uncle were all truck drivers. I used to go with my dad on trips in the summer when I was in elementary school and those are some of the best memories! My dad had to stop driving when he had a heart attack & stroke. It really took a lot out of him to give up driving. He was very particular about his truck - you didn't make a mess in that truck.

We love stopping at Iowa 80. Never knew they had so many amenities for the truck drivers. A dentist!? That’s awesome!
