In this video, we discuss Supernode circuit analysis which is a technique used when you have a dependent or independent voltage source in between two nodes. You create a constraint equation then treat the two nodes with a voltage source between them as a single node and apply Kirchhoff's current Law. With two equations and two unknowns, you can solve for the voltages at each node.

Why do you add the last equation 8-V2/12 and not subtract?

Just Subscribed ur channel.. I'm also a freshman in EEE, even after 1 month of class i feel depressed thinking of CS could be better choice as CS is cooperatively easy and helps to make high salary, on the other hand i have to study painful hard things in eee but get low paying salary job ... I'm so depressed, my class tests r not going well

what if I assumed opposite current direction for the top right resistor like it went towards 8V is there anything stopping me?
