Here is another fine example of why I love my job so much. This passed Wednesday, June 20th, 2012. I had the privilege to seat down and have a conversation on camera with one the greatest smooth jazz artists of our times, Mr, David Sanborn, Who's without a daub, is still alive, the most influential contemporary jazz musician in the last 50 years.

This interview and live performance of the song "Maputo" took place in Alexandria, VA, at the legendary BIrchmere Music Hall and was part of their very successful 2012 Dream tour. Which commemorate the 25th Anniversary of David Sanborn and Michael Sembello's song "The Dream" as well Brian Culbertson's new release CD entitle "DREAMS". Which coincidentally has the same title.

THIS VIDEO FEATURES:

DAVID SANBORN - ALTO SAX
BRIAN CULBERTSON - PIANO
EDDIE MILLER - KEYBOARDS
RICKY PETERSON - KEYBOARDS & VOCALS
RICHARD PATTERSON - BASS
NICKY MOROCH - GUITAR
CHRIS MISKEL - DRUMS
GENE LAKE - DRUMS

Certainly-- To be more specific, the Hank Crawford intro is from Mr. Crawford's appearance in the second season of "Night Music" (1989-90). Again, "Night Music" aired for two seasons-- from 1988-1990. Sanborn had a syndicated radio show on the air in 1986 ("The Jazz Show") but not a television show.

Hi ilovegoodsax, Thanks for the correction intent, However I don't understand your
point. The year posted on David Sanborn's intro to Hank Crawford Night
Music Show is 1986, Then the other date if the years of living of Hank
Crawford, so can you please be more specific on your correction?.
