Flint’s defunct Northern High School, once the home of the Vikings, has turned into a dumping ground in an otherwise well-kept neighborhood. Neighbors report that while the school grounds are cleaned up before class reunions, they are plagued by illegal dumping for the rest of the year. The abandoned school, which holds memories for many, is now a site of neglect and community frustration.

80 thousand people still live in Flint Michigan. Many residents still have no clean water since the crisis began. For context on the water bottles, they were partially submerged when a pipe burst and thus were deemed unsafe to be donated.

That’s Flint Northern HS. Kinda similar to Flint Central HS, which is abandoned next to Mott. Now, Mott is an amazing school but having to drive right next to the abandoned Central High School is terrifying cause we don’t know what lurks there. There are many videos and apparently a student at Mott went over there and spray painted over the swastikas that were in the school

If you dont know about the water, then here’s an explanation; In flint the government used water from the rivers but there was minerals not Ingestible to the human being. (Keep in mind that this happens to rivers and such) so it was given to the public and started what’s known as “The Flint Water Crisis”. It took 18 months to clear and MANY buildings had stored water bottles safe to drink, eventually it was all solved and the waters were never put to use; so they just sat there. (I’m so sorry if I got anything wrong.)
