In this video, Simona Millham covers the (mostly) false myths of Scrum development. This includes the belief that Scrum is just a fad and how Scrum projects are unmanaged. She also dispels the beliefs that Scrum skips planning and documentation, that organizational restructuring is the hardest part and that Scrum is all talk and no action.

After watching this video, you will be able to separate myth from reality when it comes to Scrum development. In this extensive webinar, Simona explains how the concept of Scrum may sound like a fad at first blush, but it actually makes a lot of practical sense.

She also explains that, despite the lack of project plans, Scrum projects are more managed than traditional projects. Related to this, she further demonstrates how Scrum does not scrimp on planning and documentation.

She then shows you that the hardest part of implementing Scrum is well beneath the organizational changes that it entails.

Finally, she describes how, while there are indeed a lot of meetings involved with Scrum, when properly organized, they are not so time consuming.
Here are several key topics and their timestamps:

0:25: Myth #1: Scrum is just a fad
4:25: Myth #2: Scrum projects are unmanaged
7:28: Myth #3: Scrum skips all the planning and documentation
10:11: Myth #4: Organizational restructuring is the hardest bit
11:29: Myth #5: Scrum is all talking and no action

Great explanation of agile and scrum. They are here to stay but I think quality control is the most important step in the process.
