Honestly if you're going to make the theme of your wedding black and white you should expect at least one naive person to think a wedding dress is a normal white ball gown, and you gotta expect a few white dresses/suits in general. And that dress does look more like a white prom dress than a wedding dress so i can see where the confusion came from.
