In 1979, I was 19 and danced to a lot of these songs with my (now) husband Bob... we're still together 41years later... and these songs still take me right back to that time.

What gets me is the number of different styles - we've got punk and rap and disco and pop and hard rock and new wave and soft rock and mid-America rock and ... so many! It's a time of changeover and amazing to see what was playing then.

79 is quite interesting. The old boogie and R&B mixed with disco and KISS (love them!!) plus Rainbow! Great seeing Mr. Blackmore and co!

I really wish you had one for 1978. A lot of great songs that year, too. I think that was the year that kicked off the changes in music I loved in the early 80s.
