Adding Plant Food to AeroGarden / Week 2 Update | AeroGarden Review Series Episode 3

After 2 weeks, the AeroGarden Harvest has let me know it is now time to add plant food. The AeroGarden will automatically inform you when it is time to add plant food so your plants always have the proper nutrients. In this video, the third AeroGarden review video in my series, I walk through the process of adding plant food and resetting the plant food notification timer. I also give an update on the plant growth after 2 weeks as well as share some thoughts about the AeroGarden so far. Some things I discuss in this review video are germination success with the herb garden seed pod kit, the brightness and effectiveness of the light, and the sound level of the pump.

I loved the light... it helped save on my electric bill. I didn't have to turn on any extra lights in the room. Agree, need a Full spectrum of red, white & blue lights, however, the watts of the Bounty Elite is 50W, and only the Farm models are 60W... but anything less than the Bounty Elite is much less watts. Takes longer to grow i think.

I started mine on boxing day, and I agree the light is super bright. All pods sprouted with at least two plants (3 or 4 for basil), but only with 1 dill.

I purchased a bunch of mylar emegerncy blankets. I cut out a skirt to go around the unit. You can still see in but it reflects most of the light back in so its not so bright.
