General Hydroponics MaxiGro nutrients is my favorite hydroponics nutrition for herbs, lettuce, leafy green vegetables, and radishes. It works even for cherry tomatoes. And, Aerogarden nutrition is my favorite for big size tomatoes, and all fruiting plants such as peppers, cucumbers, eggplants, watermelon, etc.

You make a great point at the end of the video. Beginners need to strive for ease of use before anything else. I've used it all, Masterblend 3-part dry nutrients, 1-part dry nutrients, 3-part liquid nutrients and even 1-part liquid nutrients. Despite certain advantages of the more advanced and complex formulas I always gravitate towards those that are quickest and easiest to prepare. Especially on a day to day basis when it's essential to take care of your plants, it's critical not to deal with setup so complicated it becomes a chore that we eventually start despising.

I've been using MaxiBloom for fruiting veggies with great success. Healthiest plants I've ever grown. 🤣
Happy Aerogardening!

Thanks so much for this video. I just purchased Maxigro yesterday based on you previous videos about it. Right now I’m growing the premade seed pod kits from Aerogarden, but in the future I want to grow my own seeds so it can be much cheaper. Now I know I need to add 2 tablespoons every feeding for my bounty garden since it’s around 1 gallon capacity.

Hello again,  I love all your videos,  thank you so much. When you use AeroGarden nutrients in your Idoo and others, do you add the nutrients every two weeks and top off in the meantime with fresh water? Or do you top off with nutrient water when it gets low like stated in the Idoo instructions. Sorry if this is a silly question

I use MaxiGro for all my lettuces/radishes/herbs. I make it by the gallon and use 1 1/2 tsp per gallon with 2-4 ml of cal mag. I found the cal mag really extends the life of lettuce and has solved the tip burn issue, as well as improved the flavor - no bitterness at all even at the very end of the life of the lettuce.

Have you considered MaxiBloom for the tomatoes? It would be an interesting experiment to see the differences in tomatoes with MaxiGro and MaxiBloom. MaxiBloom is a little more expensive than MaxiGro but not as expensive as AG nutes

Beginner here...thank you for these videos, so informative. How much MaxiGrow should I put in my AeroGarden Bounty Basic? I'm a bit embarrassed to ask but I'm so bad in math, that I cannot convert from ml to ounces. Would you be kind enough to help me...thank you so much!

Since the label instructions say 1 - 2 teaspoons per gallon, why did you go with 1 teaspoon per liter previously? 3.8 teaspoons per gallon seems like a lot.

I am genuinely curious.

0.5 teaspoons per liter makes more sense.

Aerogarden is going out of business. Do you have any recommendations for an AeroGarden plant food alternative?

So I just noticed something you said in the video. You said you use 1/2 tsp of Maxigrow for every 1L of water, but since you dissolve the nutrient in about 100ml, doesn’t that mean that you’re using 1/2tsp per 1.1L? Great video as always.

Hello how often do you replace water and trim roots?

"to 1 liter of water", is this 1 liter referring to the size of the aero garden or is the 1 liter referring to the water you dissolve the maxigro in? I'm trying to figure how much of the dissolved/diluted maxigro to put into my aero garden. Thank you SO much for this video!
