Exclusive: Inside Crysis 2 Remastered - The Crytek Tech Breakdown - First PS5 Footage

The Crysis Remastered Trilogy is completing soon with the arrival of Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 Remastered and John Linneman travelled to Crytek's Frankfurt HQ to speak with the developers about their approach to the final two games in the series and to see how the studio has taken onboard feedback from the first Crysis Remastered. The BEST part of this video is how humble the Crytek members seem to be. They didn't mind you laying out criticisms and cautious optimism about the trilogy based on the launch state of Crysis 1 and it was great to hear what felt like real answers to how they set out not to repeat the same mistakes.

I literally only read about the Crysis 2 and 3 remasters earlier, immediately checked to see if DF had a video, had to settle for watching the 4 month old updated Crysis 1 analysis, and as soon as I finished this one was uploaded. Perfecto!

To this day I still can't believe i manage to finish Crysis 2 and 3 on the PS3 and wasn't even bothered with the framerate or graphics settings.

Great interview! I'm so happy that Crytek went for the step to include Digital Foundry in the development. They seem to have listened to the feeback for Crysis 1 remastered for the most part, at least as much as they could, considering time and budget constraints. I'm sure that the time, budget and manpower for these remasters is much lower than people think. Crytek isn't what it used to be and that is something that has to be considered by them and us in terms of judging these projects. The devs seem quite passionate and from what I'm seeing here, Crysis 2 and 3 are in good hands. Now I'm hoping that Crysis 1 remastered will get more optimized as mentioned in the video and maybe, if possible have the kinks that are left ironed out and that the trilogy will release on steam as a full package. Really worried about the games being forever exclusive to the Epic game store :(

I don’t mind when day 0 or 1 patches contain pretty minor updates but the disc should always have the major game and graphical features with minimal bugs.
