Love the colors and image characteristics from Panasonic.

I'm not a camera store owner or influencer who handles dozens of cameras a week - but from my research - I think this is dollar for dollar the best hybrid camera on the market especially when it comes to sheer versatility. It does an incredible job with video but then on photo you get live LUT, you can shoot in xpan crop if you want, you get the 30fps burst, high res mode, and live composite mode coming in FW update. I can't name another camera with all the features the s5ii has for any price let alone a competitive one. When you factor that with the quality of images and videos it can put out, it's like the Leatherman multitool of cameras.

Nice video. Got mine yesterday... Paired with the Lumix S f/1.8 primes, and shooting 6k 3:2 with Autofocus, it is incredibly powerful. For when I need telephoto or slow motion the gh6 is king. They use the same battery and log profile, so it's not hard to work with both.

Getting ready to buy so I can document my 6 week trip across Greece. Any lens recommendarions for video, travel etc? ( Of course some vlogging, but lots of scenery shooting and some photography) happy to invest in multiple lens if I need but because I'm travelling a lot something all purpose?

What about 1080p ??? 120 fps?? Is there crop in 1080p 60 fps..what about PDAF in these frame rates???

Please tell me this is true, Panasonic s5 mark2 - MOV 1080p 4.2.2 10 bit 24/25/30fps FF (Full-Frame) uses PDAF. 1080p 4.2.2. 10 bits 50/60fps FF use DFD (old contrast method). APS-C 1080p 50/60fps mode uses PDAF? Or just in the MР4?
