Great choice of BAD flix. One thing I do appreciate about so much of the 50's "cheese cake" sci-fi were all those LONG luscious gams!!!

Invasion of the Saucer Men is one of my all time favorites! Not just because of Frank Gorshin (the Riddler from the 1966 Batman series), but also for the creator of the Martian masks and costumes, Paul Blaisedell who also created the costumes and masks for the 'She Creature', 'Day the World Ended' and 'It Conquered the World'! The She Creature role he recreated in the comedy spoof (my other all time favorite), "The Ghost of Dragstrip Hollow'!

All fun little flics. Parents never went to the movies but they sent me and my brother to the Saturday Matinee. Great times watching these good old "B" movies. And westerns, and comedies, and war movies. Of the 5 shown here, First Mans in Space is my favourite. Scared the beejeevers out of me back then. So many favorites from the 50s; It The Terror From Beyond Space, Them, Tarantula, Monolith Monsters, Beast From 20, 000 fathoms, Monster That Challenged The World. So many of them, What a great time. Thanks for posting another trip down memory lane. Glad you enjoyed them as well.

I love them, one that scared the shit out of me and gave me nightmares was 'Fiend Without a Face', bloody invisible brain with spine looking things they were. gave me nightmares for weeks - now I have it on DVD....Asan aside, in the seventies we used to go to pictures (cinema) and pay once to watch the film and we could stay there to watch it again if we wanted, but in between there was always a B movie....it was fun. Today, one pays a fortune, gets there at the advertised 'start time' and have to sit through at least 20 minutes of self-serving ads and previews of upcoming films. I always get there 15 minutes after the 'start time' now.

I loved growing up with all of this. Didn't realize that Roger Delgado in First Man Into Space was the Master! In fairness, he didn't have that beard.

Fun picks but in actuality, Robert Day's "First Man Into Space" has been re-evaluated in recent years and is now considered an underrated classic and Edward L. Cahn's "Invasion of the Saucer Man" is being appreciated as the comedy it was always intended to be as well as for the highly imaginative creatures designed by Paul Blaisdell.

Those were five good ones. I remember the hand with the eyeball really messed me up for years.😂

I like them all. Love to kick back with a big bowl of hot butter popcorn and a coke and watching them on Saturday nights.

Why does it always seem these movies are so much better than what comes out today? Your efforts here are great.
