Hello fashion friends!!! Today I am going to be showing you how to make the perfect summer dress and top: a strapless mini dress and corset!! I have a sewing tutorial AND a pattern for you all. This is an intermediate project, but can be done by a strong beginner as well. Love you all!

(I use plastic head pins during videos so you guys can see what I'm using... but I don't love them. ^THESE are what I use religiously and whenever I am not filming.)

Love this pattern!! I’ve made it 5 times already now, some with slight changes. Still hate putting in zippers though

You're so great at being clear and concise with your tutorials.

Two questions:

1) Is the point of serging the inside seams on the outer red strap, so that it doesn't clump up in the wash? Because it's already encased.

2) Whenever I sew invisible zips, the top shapes out into a v-shape, even when zipped all the way. Is that a sewing issue, or what the hook and eye is for?

I'm going to make this 100% for a wedding dress. I would love to see you explain how to fix some parts of the patterns to fit better for other body types. I'm usually a small but I have a big bust and usually I have to fix it and it's so hard :')
