This has nothing to do with The Take. But I so much hate how deep the falsehood of the Salem Witch Trials is. Nobody was burned in Salem. I wish pop culture would stop reinforcing that myth. I get it makes for more dramatic TV and moments. But it does a disservice to the people who actually were killed during that time period. Thank you for listening to my witch-related rant. 😂

While WandaVision was decent, they completely mismanaged Wanda in Dr Strange 2, a film she was not intended to be in, wasting a great character. This new show has a shallow depiction of witches and an uninteresting depiction of the paranormal, neither grounded in a good fictional magic system or real life accounts. I can think of a dozen more interesting works. I predict it will flop.

I barely made it through the first Agatha episode. It veered from incoherent to gratuitous, not enough of an improvement to redeem the contrived "dialog". Is the ultimate meta that it's a WandaVision parody written in TikTok style by ChatGPT?
