I can see now that Alhaitham is what every akademiya student should be. Like what Nahida said when she had decided to shut down the Akasha. Curiosity will once again be what drives the students to attain absolute knowledge. As someone who writes legal documents of the Akademiya (and knowing how audacious the Akademiya was), he would start connecting the dots, and then his curiosity drove him to even go against even the Akademiya. Now that I think of it, he's the human equivalent of the Akasha.

His teaser seems like one of the prettiest. The scenery and lighting is gorgeous. The artists put so much effort into every scene.

The teaser really seems like to indicate that, compared to most character teasers, he really is just a normal dude who enjoys and desires to learn and study as much as he could. His character introduction even says that he simply yearns for an ordinary life, but unfortunately, life on the other hand, has different and not-so-ordinary plans for him.

I've never seen a more beautiful teaser in my life. I always thought that Al Haitham had more to his personality than just his rationality. His curiosity and perception of the world is so fascinating, it resonates with me deeply. His demeanour also feels like that of a noble intellectual.

Alhaitham's view of the world while he's just casually reading a book is honestly very relaxing. The little details with Nahida and Dunyarzad were a nice touch as well.

This is such an artful character teaser... I really wasn't expecting that from a rational and shrewd character like Alhaitham to have a teaser like this. I think this is the most beautiful character teaser they've made so far, that and the combination of the delicate, emotional piano music in the background really makes me feel at awe

There’s something about Al-Haitham that strikes me as… Royal? Like he has this knowledge and power that seems almost comparable to that of a king, and oddly enough the position he’s in right now as acting grand sage is kind of like a king. And yet, with all these arrows pointing him towards a fate of leadership and power, he instead goes the route of simplicity and normality, pursuing what he chooses to instead of taking the route those around him recommend he does. Kind of beautiful honestly.

Al Haitham’s voice is so soothing. I wish he’d narrate a 4 hour nature documentary. I’d listen to it all the time. Love the part at 0:21. Superbly animated and I loved seeing cameos from Dunyarzad and Nahida

I think I understand how much Alhaitham enjoy's his scribe secretary position. He may say it's an easy cushy job, but I honestly think it brings him comfort to be in a position that center's itself with forming questions, preserving, and passing down knowledge. In a way it combines the things he's learned from his grandmother and his parents. Unable to really know who they were, maybe their words in the books he reads from them have a lot more depth than we currently know about.

I'm a sucker for philosophical musings. Alhaitham is another character who kinda snuck up on me in terms of me growing to like them. Had neutral thoughts on him when we first met him, then he really comes through during the Archon quest with his alternative points of view, attention to detail, latent leadership capabilities (he doesn't like being a leader, but the ones who eschew the role tend to be the best ones) and overall reliability. Now we have a small glimpse of his inner world, and it was very thoughtful and gripping. I'm a fan!

It's the best statement we can use to describe how we are all still overflowing with questions about life and its ways, while nothing answers back, nothing provides us a solution.
