I've been feeding Prey Model Raw (PMR) to four dogs of various sizes for almost 10 years. Before beginning the transition (an important stage), I did as thorough research as I could. Your explanations and advice are bang on!


Here's a couple of points that may be helpful to others:


I include:
- a daily dose of canine glucosamine
- whole, raw eggs in the shell ( 2/week for my biggest dog - 70.8 lbs - 32.2 kg; 1/wk for my smallest - 12. 9 llbs - 5.86 kg


One of the best tips I received: if your dog won't eat a particular piece of meat or organ (my smallest wouldn't eat liver), trying quickly and very briefly searing it first in a hot frying pan. Eventually, the dog will get used to it and you won't have to sear first. Worked like a charm for me.

Finally someone who knows what they are talking about!! You just gained a new sub! I really want to transition my dogs to raw, but owning 4 raw eating huskies would mean that momma will eat ramen for the rest of her life lol I'm still sourcing to try and make it affordable. This video is what I've been looking for! I wanted to SEE what they each looked like portioned out, just sub'd!! I have a 9wk Dogo Argentino and I want her to get it right and balanced. I have read many different things that have me still a bit confused. Am I supposed to feed her based on her weight that she is now or her adult body weight for I've read about both. Thanks a lot 😊

I’m in the mist of transitioning my picky Sammy raw... he refuses to eat any meat on bone. Then he refused the raw chicken meat altogether after the 3rd day... so I gave him he’s old food. This isn’t so easy as I thought.
