Yeah... she needs a better treatment or new stylist altogether. Makes me even understand why Irene scolded a stylist a few years ago. Granted, that she was forced to reflect on her self and apologize, but... if she also gets these kinda outfit, who wouldn't protests?!

i study design for the performance and in my costuming classes we are always told the importance of safety and comfort for the performers because if the clothes are an issue for them they might not be able to give it their all. its just a shame how in kpop stylists seem to not care about their performers THAT much and only care about how the fits look

I knowww😭😭 i have no idea why stylists would give uncomfortable + unsafe outfits when you can clearly see their discomfort and safety risks on multiple occasions. And even after all the controversy around Karina stylist they still give her unsafe outfits and shoes!! ! Even a sewing needle while performing.this happens too often there's no excuse!!!

I’ve said this tons of times: Kpop is in need of costume designers, NOT stylists. Yes, I get that idols’ bodies are moving sponsor charts, so anything they wear is purposely selected to either get sponsorships or to enforce brand deals, BUT those people are performers, first thing first. And, as any other worker, they need clothes fitted for their job. Sleeveless tops and corset are pretty, but are they good for dancing? Hell no!
And no, I’m not saying they should perform in some kind of sweatpants (I’d find it super cool, but this might be just my cup of tea), but, again, a costume designer could fabricate something both stylish and functional.
Those incidents in particular got me utterly disbelieving: this is either a way to start drama (at the end of the day, attention IS attention) or a not-so-subtle way of sabotaging. There is NO WAY you didn’t recognize 2 different pair of shoes, let alone don’t noticing that one is broken.

Seriously it’s a common problem I see in kpop styling is they cannot provide proper clothing for larger chests! Those tiny spaghetti straps aren’t gonna cut it!

I remember I saw people saying "it was not a big deal" when Karina found the needle in her sleeve because "it was just a human mistake and people were exagerating". Now, seeing all of the problems Karina have had with her oufits, is it really just ONE little silly mistake? smh

And Karina never really minding the pain or the uncomfortable outfit during her performance is the reason why i love her so much. She’s just so down to and earth and gives all her best to perform well for her fans. I just hope SM will see this as a sign that they need to treasure Karina cause she’s just authentic and no one can ever be Karina. Losing her will be a huge downfall of the company.
