Change Your Microsoft Edge File Download Options

When you download files from the internet using Microsoft Edge, they will automatically be placed in your Downloads folder under your user profile. If you want to change where files are downloaded to or be prompted each time (save as) so you can choose the download location, you can easily change these options in the Edge settings. You can also change whether or not online Microsoft Office files are opened in the browser or just downloaded.

what if i download from micrsoft edge and it shows enternet logo and i cant open it?

I turned the Open Office files in browser option off - but it still opens PDF files in the browser... but my other laptop automatically saves the PDF (from the exact same site)?
