The popularity of Regency-era love stories hasn't waned in the past year, as Season 2 of Bridgerton demonstrates. The show's second season has racked up 193 million viewing hours since its premiere on Friday, March 25, placing it into Netflix's Top 10 in 92 countries. Bridgerton set a new record for the platform by becoming the most-watched English-language TV show during its first weekend. The series also came in second place for the weekend's most popular launch, trailing only Spain's Money Heist, which racked up 201.9 million viewing hours on Netflix. Now that the majority of Netflix users either have already finished binging Season 2 or are still currently doing so, one question lingers with the audience. Will there be another season of Bridgerton? After the last season ended and did not even leave any cliffhanger, we all thought Bridgerton was going to end at Season 1. But, after Netflix’s official announcement that we will be having a Season 2, we all rejoiced, of course. How about now? Is the story of the Bridgerton family going to end with Anthony’s love quest, or will there be more stories to come? Well, it seems that Netflix listens to its audience because Bridgerton will have a third season indeed! And better yet, it will even have a fourth season! So, what do we know so far about this famous Netflix regal drama’s Season 3? Watch this video to find out. But before anything else, watch out for some major spoilers, and make sure first to hit that subscribe button and smash that notification bell for more updates. Now, let’s begin!

Bridgerton's successful premiere follows in the footsteps of its predecessor from season one, which racked up 625 million hours in its first 28 days. While both seasons are setting records for English television, Netflix's most popular series overall is Squid Game from 2021, which was streamed a record-breaking 1.65 billion hours in its first month. The Korean thriller topped Netflix's Top 10 Series list in all 94 countries where the streaming service is available. Bridgerton season 1 is, on the other hand, experiencing a resurgence in popularity, ranking third in Netflix's Top Series this week with 32.3 million viewing hours as fans revisit the scandalous love affair between Phoebe Dynevor's Daphne Bridgerton and Regé-Jean Page's Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings.

Each season focuses on a different Bridgerton sister, similar to Julia Quinn's book series of the same name. In its second season, the sitcom altered gears to focus on Anthony's love life (played by Jonathan Bailey) and his convoluted connection with sisters Kate and Edwina Sharma (Simone Ashley and Charithra Chandran). Dynevor reappears in Season 2 as a supporting character assisting her brother in his hunt for a marriage. Nicola Coughlan, Claudia Jessie, Florence Hunt, Luke Newton, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Thompson, Will Tilston, and Julie Andrews all reprise their roles as Lady Whistledown this season.

Here's what we know so far about the confirmed third season of "Bridgerton," including the potential Benedict storyline — and other possibilities.
'Bridgerton' was renewed for season three in 2021

Fans of the romance drama "Bridgerton" got a burst of good news a year before season two premiered: "Bridgerton" was promised to return for two more seasons.

In a special release on Netflix's homepage, "Lady Whistledown" confirmed the news. The note stated, “This author shall have to purchase more ink."
When is the release date for Bridgerton Season 3?

Although the second season of Bridgerton was released in March 2022, there is no official release date for the third season yet. While you're waiting for the third season to premiere, read some of Quinn's books to learn more about the plot. In relation to that…
What will Season 3 be about?
The third season of 'Bridgerton' might focus on Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Beckett

Benedict will be the next Bridgerton brother to fall in love if "Bridgerton" continues to follow Quinn's book sequence.

The book's love interest, Sophie Beckett, is the illegitimate daughter of an earl. Sophie is forced into service by her stepmother, who withholds money from Sophie's estate after her father dies. Sophie is able to sneak away and attend the Bridgerton family's masquerade party on the evening of the ball. Benedict remembers the fascinating woman with whom he danced that night and looks for her in vain.
