So you got a pc problem which you want to troubleshoot? This little warning speaking will give you bios beep codes to help troubleshoot hardware problems in your pc, whether its RAM, Memory, CPU or GPU. The BIOS speaker can help if your motherboard does not have a speaker built in or an diagnostics lights.

The beep codes are specific to the Bios design, for example my MSI motherboard has an AMI bios. Other bios designs will have different beep codes.

yes i discovered this method many years ago, when i did it the first time it freaked me out little becuase i had not seen or heard anybody else using this simple method before and felt like i had discovered something in all seriousness it is indeed a cheap and simple way of giving you accurate insight into those annoying little bugs or grey areas without a total tare down of any hardware installed, allowing rectification much quicker, nice one for putting it out there.

Even expensive motherboards come without a built-in pc speaker nowadays.

I paid $449 USD for my current motherboard, and it does not have such a speaker on it.

i had a pc once that was so old the speaker didnt beep, it spoke in Latin !!
