It’s another beautiful day and the today I’m going to share with you my simple GUISADO DE ARRIERO NORTEÑO basically beef or pork in a salsa with rajas and frijoles de la olla this is a very simple, versatile and of course super delicious dish it’s very popular in the northern side of Mexico and is often served in burritos or gorditas de harina. 🤤Description of this delicious guisado, the meat, which can be beef or pork, is cooked until it's very tender and absorbs all the flavors of the flavorful salsa. The rajas (strips of poblano pepper) add a smoky and slightly spicy touch, while the beans provide a creamy texture and earthy taste. Altogether, it's a well-balanced dish with a combination of smoky, spicy, and comforting flavors. It's truly a delight! ❤️ so I hope you enjoy them just as much as we do!

Tips** I cook my beans in my pressure cooker- 1 cup cleaned pinto beans with 2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper and thyme and 1/4 tsp ground cumin with 4 cups of water cook for 1 hour
OR if you have canned beans you can use it too!
Ingredients
2 poblano peppers
2 Anaheim peppers
4 Roma tomatoes
1 tomatillo
Chile jalapeños or serranos
1/4 onion
2 garlic cloves
2 California or Guajillo peppers
1 tsp beef bouillon
2 lbs beef chuck cross rib thin steaks
Salt I used 2 tsp
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic/onion powder
2 cups pinto beans
1/2 small diced onion
1 serving of love 💕
