Weird to say, but I honestly find it very fun that Vader had to "relearn lightsaber combat as a whole". Because its nit like he forgot everything and now has to practically telearn it, but that due to his hinderance he has to adapt to see what is and isn't possible with lightsbaer combat. And that seems just so fun to me, like in a video game type of way.
