If you have a Yamaha keyboard or any other digital workstation or arranger and you want to use it to covert MIDI Song saved as MID File into downmixed stereo WAV File - it video is for you.

In this solution we will use the samples from keyboard (Yamaha PSR) to render the final sound ready to be published.

This is also a part of Yamaha PSR Tutorial and we will use USB Audio Player for this

Most other keyboards also have this feature, check your Novation, Kord, Roland or Casio for something called Audio recorder, scene recorder or tape recorder.

In this example I will use Yamaha USB Audio player to capture translate #MIDI song into WAV File using #Yamaha PSR as the sound engine - hardware MIDI #Synthesizer.
Please watch the first part where I was creating this song (ROCK1.MID file) video is here:

After moving to computer I have also used free software called Audacity to normalize the volume of the produced WAV stereo file.

In this video I will also show possible problems with USB memory pendrive like Disk Error or Filename not found

Chapters in this video:
0:00 Intro - quite long
1:01 Playing MIDI song using Yamaha PSR Sound Engine
1:57 Preparing MIDI Song for Audio record
2:45 Fixing problem with USB Memory stick in Yamaha Keyboard
3:05 Arming Speaker Output record in Yamaha Keyboard
3:46 How to start recording master output in PSR keyboard

That is a great workaround! Thanks for the tip.

Hello, I just got introduced by your channel today and so far all your videos have been a help to me :D. I right now have been using the Rc 505 Loopstation for quite a while now and I am thinking of buying a second device to make my loop quality better. While I was searching, the Akai MPK mini MK3 Mini keyboard has caught my mind. Now According to your video about how to connect a Yamaha keyboard into a loop station, you said you only needed a specific cable in order to do that. Is it also the same for connecting the Akai mini Mk3 mini keyboard into my loopstation? or do I need something else? I've also heard that you can use a microphone to input the sound into the Akai MPK Keyboard and then control it. Do you know how to do it?
I'm sorry for asking a lot of questions.
