🔵 1.) Analog Computer

An analog computer is a device that performs tasks using continuous signals. They are used to measure voltage, pressure, electric current, temperature and are helpful in the fields of technology, research, engineering, etc. Examples of Analog Computers are Thermometer, Speedometer, Seismometer (earthquake measuring equipment).

🔵 2.) Digital Computer

A digital computer is a digital system that processes the data in binary numbers because the computer understands machine language, i.e. 0 and 1. The user gives input and the computer gives output in human language, but in the background, all processes happen in machine language. Thus, computers and humans communicate.

🔵 3.) Hybrid Computer

A hybrid computer is a combination of analog computers and digital computers. Analog computers can do complex analyses, whereas digital computers are best for logical and numerical analysis. Packard Bell, a Dutch-based computer manufacturing company, designed the first hybrid computer in 1961 called Hycomp 250.
