Above Reproach Ministry: Episode 20 of the end times series in the gospels. Jesus says His second coming is like the days of Noah? What is the comparison Jesus is making? What is the real reason that the second coming of Jesus is compared to the flood story? That's what we explore in this 20th episode in Matthew 24.

I was just thinking about the water and fire aspect as well. How Noah warned them and no one listened, kind of like John and baptism. And then the angels went to sodom and actually took Lot and his family out of the way of the fire, yet his wife looked at the fire and turned to a pillar of salt. She didn't believe the angels when they said don't look back. Just a thought. When we are baptized it is like accepting the word of warning, and then Gods Word helps us not fall into condemnation when we mess up and have to go through a fiery trial, as long as we learn from our turn back. I don't know where that thought came from it just hit me when reading this today.

Note… the remnant of the flood was Noah’s family and the animals. With Lot, it was Lot’s family. In both cases they were the “righteous” not the wicked that remained.

Jason you are doing so good in this study.... go deeper. Why does no one know? Because God does not have a timetable. He WAITED for Noah. While Noah built the ark, God was silent.... for almost 100 years as Noah worked on his salvation plan. When Noah finished God finally spoke... now the judgement and deliverance at the same time. Lot.... deliverance and judgement at the same time. Moses... deliverance and judgement at the same time.

I believe there's much more integrity with this interpretation, and comparison is consistent with days of Noah. Also consistent with Thess 5.2-3 when they are saying peace and like great days to be living in. Making it even more unlikely to expect his coming.

Concerned with earthly things, not the heavenly perspective.

Those days there were much wickedness. I believe there were many times Noah has said over. “Unaware” is result of disbelief. God is Good.

Could it be possible that the evil ones will be taken and God's chosen will remain for the 1000 years reign 😊

It's the same as the days of Noah because it's a worldwide judgment in which almost all life will be wiped out. Isaiah 24:6, 2nd Peter 3.

Here's another thing which stands out. A door gets closed in all these stories about Noah, Lot, and in Matthew 25:10 with the parable of the ten virgins.

Genesis 7:16
Genesis 19:10
Matthew 25:10

And this is similar to the Jews hiding in their homes during the 10th plague in Egypt. Exodus 12:23.

"The destroyer"
Revelation 9:11

We see something similar described in conjunction with the resurrection in Isaiah 26:19-21 and Job 14:10-17. Note again the closing door in Isaiah 26:20. And people told to hide in Zephaniah 2:1-3 on the Day of the Lord.

Here's some more interesting passages...
Psalm 27:5
Psalm 31:20
Malachi 4:1-3
Revelation 15:1-4

"You shall go out like fat stall fed calves." Malachi 4:3

Matthew 24:45
John 10:4
Numbers 27:15-18
1st Kings 3:7-8
Isaiah 52:10-15, Exodus 14:19-21
Revelation 7:9-17

Too many to be numbered or counted.

Genesis 13:16
Galatians 3:6-9

To come into the mountain of the Lord.

Exodus 15:16-17, Hebrews 12:18-24, Isaiah 30:27-30

Verse 29. Who is singing?

Psalm 68:24-25

"He sends out His voice, a mighty voice" Psalm 68:33

1st Thessalonians 4:16

"He sent from above, He took me, He drew me out of many waters." Psalm 18:16, Isaiah 17:13, Revelation 17:1, 15.

Psalm 7:7, 50:1-5, Joel 2:1-11, Matthew 24:31

This is an abridged thought. What if the second coming is meant individually. Jesus returns to individuals. And the two are not groups but one is taken one remains so that there is a witness and one is brought to life (as jesus’ resurrection). Not Jesus but the resurrection of one like Jesus, by Jesus, with a new name. You. The new name only known to you.

Son, 1 that is taken are the ones thrown into the fire, the ones that are left live. Jesus another parable about the end of the age that the angels will collect both the sheep and the goats and sort them out with the son of man. Those that bare fruit will remain and those that bare no fruit will be cut down and casted into the fire.
I have already met Jesus in the air, haven't you? He is alive. Have you not met him in the air yet? Do you not hear his voice? Di you not know his works when you see it?
Then don't deny him and he won't deny you.

Can you conclude the Bible into a sentence?
They are a race and species of Children who are perpetually and who play make-believe and pretend perpetually, making them perpetually “Asleep”.
just like in the days of Noah, the children were playing pretend and make-believe and asleep as usual, with their vain and vanities, but in Darkness.
"Fear not the Imaginations of Unfaithfulness" What is that?

1) Apostle Paul - (Fornification) -> Letter to the Churches -> The "masturbation" of Vain & Vanities in the Imagination.

{("Problem")} -> Romans 1:21 Because that, then they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; {(but became "vain" in their imaginations}, and (their) foolish heart was “darkened”)}. ⇦ to much "darkness"

{(but became "vain" in their "pretending & make-believe"}, and (their) "Childish" foolish heart was “darkened”)}.

{("Solution")} -> 2 Corinthians 10:5 {("Casting down imaginations")}, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

{("Casting down "pretending & make-believe")} -> imaginations -> a Species and Race of Children that would be perpetual.

It does not Glorify imagination, then what are you imagining?

2) Ecclesiasticus 45:13 KJV Before him there were none such, neither did ever any stranger put them on, but only his children and his/God (children's children perpetually).

Horses horse perpetually, Cow’s cow perpetually, Flower’s flower perpetually - Commonality Denominator - Species and Races.
(children's children perpetually) - If you guessed correctly this is also a Species and Race of Children that would be perpetual - never ending or changing consistent and constant following a blueprint of design, that is what math does.

God, therefore, is deemed an Infinitive “Thing” an unknown math value, that would be a math's, math, math's, away from us, paradox math that is perpetual, and we Children are designed in God's mathematics.

3)"That we are not knowing that we don't know that we are not knowing" =

1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord {("shall not prevent")} them which are (asleep).

Matthew 13:13 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

(asleep) = "pretending & make-believe".

(asleep) ->: because they are seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

(asleep) -> a Species and Race of Children that would be perpetual.

You are correct. Because what you are saying is what God is saying based on the examples He clearly states for us to read. It is sad how strongly people want to insist that the "rapture" (pet theory of being whisked away secretly by God) is actually stated in scripture. There is no rapture; there is the resurrection to eternal life. Period. And if one means resurrection when they say rapture, then just use the word God does.
