The key metric in this situation is the insulin level. Obese patients that are tending towards diabetes actually have very high insulin levels. Hyperinsulinemia is involved in chronic inflammation.

If I wanted to stratify risk of a poor outcome in Covid I would want to know age, insulin level and vitamin D level.
Most of the risk factors for poor outcome in Covid are actually due to hyperinsulinemia.

Hello Dr. Been! Thank you for the very informative talks and shows on covid topics! May I also point your attention in the direction of asymptomatic covid recovered patients? My girlfriend is triple vaccinated with Moderna (2 doses fall 2021 + booster jan 2022). During this period she had tested negative all the time. Two weeks ago she contracted covid (PCR confirmed) and had a week long average flue like symptoms. Living in the same household we couldn't maintain separation and of course I also was at risk. I had two days of heavy headaches and no other symptoms. Tested negative everyday on fast tests and also on a PCR end of the week. I'm not vaccinated and from the beginning of the pandemic I followed all the sound medical advice to keep my immune system ready. Increased Vitamin D, C, sleep, and reduce stress. I practiced the required isolation measures during the last two years but not to the extreme so I most likely was exposed in the past as well although never tested positive. We're both in the 40's age group we consume organic food most of the time and have healthy and active life styles. So, isn't it worth looking at those people which can go through this pandemic relying on the natural immunity instead of the vaccine path? Maybe this will boost the other people moral and promote positive attitude and trust in ones body ;)

I was diagnosed diabetic for 2 months after covid. After 2 months my hb1aC went to its normal state.
Mind you I had to watch what I was eating, still Its not irreparable.

That was one of the best presentations of a peer-reviewed journal paper I've ever seen. Superb.

It's been known for 2 years that clotting and inflammation are the greatest problems for the majority of people who get infected, and every month there is more and more research backing this up. But they still only care about targeting the respiratory symptoms, and certain other solutions remain banned or not talked about, and there is barely any funding that goes to research on better treatment in this regard. They will not be able to neglect these forever, with more and more long covid patients they eventually have to allow them. But my fear is what if these symptoms are untreated for so long they become permanent.

My 44 year old daughter was diagnosed with diabetes after the vaccines and getting Covid, never had a problem like that in her life

So is this a cause or effect? Is the diabetes caused by the infection, or is the long infection caused by preexisting diabetes?
Sorry if that's answered in the video. I'm at work and can't watch the whole thing.

Is this happening to vaccinated patients? It would be interesting to see if the vaccines increase these risks seeing the data of these vaccines are now not suppressed for over 75 years like Pfizer wanted.

This is my favorite of your paintings, so far!

Could this not be in part explained by the change in lifestyle people staying at home isolating less activity and more diabetes?

True to form - Big Research/Big Pharma never misses an opportunity to increase diabetes. Beautiful moody painting.

Doesn't pass the sniff test anymore. As Andy Kaufman said Rona was never isolated so how does it exist.

Diabetes is probably very under diagnosed plus it is the number one pre existing condition that makes COVID more risky... could be the diabetes is the cause of COVID symptoms which then leads to finding the diabetes that was already there... Just thinking...

6 mo after Pfizer my child has gone from A1C 5-14 and 270 BG & diagnosed with T1 because he has lost most of his insulin.

They want the population to be 500M or less according to the Georgia Guidestones, so we are over their budget.

Which came first the chicken or the egg? Maybe people more likely to get covid and suffer long covid already had blood sugar issues but were just undiagnosed. Unless these people prior to their covid diagnosis had recently had their blood sugars checked, how can we know?
Dr dhand said he was treating hospitalised covid patients who thought they were 'healthy' and when he checked their blood sugars insulin they were actually pre diabetic or diabetic.
Maybe post covid people are hyper aware of theit bodies and just getting diagnosed earlier?

If a person who has been vaccinated tells their doctor they believe they are experiencing long covid symptoms (which is still a bit of a mystery), the doctor is much more likely to consider that as a possibility rather than it being related to the vaccine regardless if the person mentions their suspicion of the vaccine or not?  Maybe this is kinda obvious at this point.  I don't doubt long covid at all but the reasoning I've heard seems to be a very small possibility when considering what we now know about the vaccines.  Sometimes I wonder if the cases of "long haul covid" we heard about in 2020 before the vaccines could have just as easily been explained by the various neurological issues people begin to experience every year.  The fact that in 2020 there were almost an endless and growing number of symptoms under the umbrella of long covid with just a few needed to be experienced to be diagnosed, makes it seem like just another case of enabling doctors to label every neurological issue someone comes in for as possible long covid instead of a more precise diagnosis that would have usually been the case pre-covid.  I wonder if it was intentional to set expectations throughout 2020 for what people would defintely be experiencing in 2021 and beyond.  Same can be said for young people not having nearly the serious regular covid issues in 2020 as in 2021.  The ease with which they label these 2021 issues covid, reinfections, or breakthrough infections with almost zero interest in considering the vaccine spike protein as a possibility makes it hard to deny this was planned as a vaccine that resembles the original virus infection.  Little kids didn't usually have many covid symptoms until the less serious Omicron variant emerged right around the time vaccines for 5-11 yr olds came out around mid Nov2021.  In NY city, total child hospitalizations quadrupled starting in mid-Dec to early Jan2022.  If we only look at the "covid" hospitalizations or deaths subset, you won't see the real total which is a much more accurate number since total hospitalizations and deaths can be measured instead filtering the true number to only show those with a positive PCR.

But is this people that just didn't have covid but was vaccinated also?

If your maximum waist circumference is greater than one-half your height measurement, you have Metabolic Syndrome, also known as Insulin Resistance. Permanently switching to a low-Carb diet lifestyle will quickly eliminate this problem and cure Fatty Liver.
