That selfie camera might be useful for taking POV shots of you using your camera.😂

I've been super curious about it since its announcement, thanks for the review! It would be so fun as a pocket camera with M43 pancake lenses

The only reason I would use something like this is for easier live streaming to Instagram, Facebook or YouTube at staged events. For some reason these apps on a iPhone doesn’t let you select the telephoto camera. Also for quick photo upload to social media which I already do with a iPhone 12 Pro Max at events.

Honestly, I'm a huge fan. Especially for the price! I'm gonna have a hard time suggesting a rebel camera for $900 with its antiquated DSLR styles when a camera like this exists. It isn't to say dslrs aren't great (heck, I still use an SLR) but for a new photographer, this is awesome!

Great overview. Thanks!
It's about time. This is a game-changer. Well, at least a step int hat direction. I've contacted Nikon ( I'm a Nikon shooter) a bunch of times about a "real' connection to the intenet and not the goofy bridge software they have. Nikon, Canon, Sony, Pentax, you listening? I realized Samsung has attempted this before, and the Yongnuo YN450N did it a couple years ago. but this solution seems a bit more advanced.
by the way, I love that Hasselblad of yours. If you ever get tired of it, pass it my way. I'll put a few shutter actuations on it.😉

As someone who owned Sony QX10 ans QX1 smartphone cameras, I love the fact those smartphone/camera hybrids are still around. Would like to try this yongnuo!

Honestly, as someone who already has some good micro four thirds glass, I would dig this.

For me, what would be great is basically my android phone glued to an RX 100 m7. It's still very pocketable, but much better image quality and ability to share and edit right away. Maybe this is where DJI pushes the industry?

This is more innovative than what Oly and Panny have done for M43 in the last 10 years.

i really want this as a novelty camera, not as a main camera but certainly a fun one to bring and share photos with friends

Such an interesting concept! I think as computational photography becomes more prominent, and smartphone camera tech in that field advances, we might see more crossover and more Android-enabled cameras.

A true M43 mount camera by someone like Xiaomi with their Leica-partnered image processing built in could be very, very interesting.

I think what will need to happen though is a more stripped back, customised version of Android being used, like a lot of high-res audio/hi-fi players now use.

They should make an updated version of this with a newer Micro Four Thirds sensor that can shoot in 10 bit 4K 60fps.

stabilization is number 1 feature I look before buying any camera

What ideally want is a smartphone with an apsc sensor and have a lens cap when not shooting, and when you are going out you just put on your favourite lens and go shoot

I definitely want one but with updated M43 sensor and newer Snapdragon chip. I'd be so happy if Yongnuo can put Snapdragon 8 series chip in it.

As an amateur nature photographer, I like this as a backup camera when I don’t have my big bulky DLSR Camera

This really seems like the perfect social media and live stream camera, however I really think they messed up by not adding the hotshoe to hold a mic or illumination (even tho the camera has mic and usb-c ports)
I think Yongnuo can "save" this concept by developing their own camera cage for this camera
