So you can have one of your disjuncts be a disjunction and another disjunct be a conjunction, and still form a DNF sentence? That is, sentences in DNF are allowed to have disjunctions and conjunctions on the same level of its syntax tree? Just want to clarify if this property follows from the definition of DNF or from the associativity of disjunctions.

This didn't make the slightest bit of sense to me. I don't see what makes a logic sentence pass as disjunctive normal form. They all look the same, what is the difference?
