AMD FX 8350 Gaming Performance in 2019

Is AMD FX 8350 still good, especially in new games ? Compared with Ryzen 7 2700X using high end gtx 1080 ti gpu.

Got my 8350 overclocked to 4, 4 GHz (can't get more due to suboptimal air cooling with no space for a radiator). Got me 3-10 more fps in the benchmarks of various games.

OK so nothing I can see to make me want to change my x year old FX8350 running at 4.5GHz/core with an old but regularly cleaned Noctuta cooler. It has seen off 2 video cards so far and still only on a GTX970. I am not much of a high end gamer but it is good enough and chews through video encoding. Thanks.

I think fx 8350 is better enought on 2019 most of these game it could play at 60 fps with no problems.

Holy crap.

I never expected that and I'm quite happy with my FX 6300.

I would like to see it compared to an equal priced Intel CPU from the same time period. That would put it against an i5 3570 or so.

Nobody runs FX at stock bro, you need to OC not CPU only, but RAM and NB and will get way better results

Your Problem is the Asus motherboard of the fx8350 doesn't support PCIe 3.0 this bottlenecks a 1080ti pretty hard. I like the video but you have to get a PCIe 3.0 motherboard to compare the two CPUs...

Probably low quality, which is unrealistic test for real world. The difference between then on Maximum quality, the way it need to be played, would be MUCH lower. This is why i will downvote, sorry. You have a incredible chance to test this CPUs properly, but unstead you choose low quality that nobody that have a RIG like this would play and obviously will maximize the difference.
