Remember, even if you've set up to sweep, you need to anticipate that the opposite player HAS an answer, and adjust accordingly.

Another funny counter I've found for this strategy: give literally any Sturdy Pokemon a Red Card. Red Card can screw over a surprisingly large number of strategies (hence why I run it on my Shuckle, typically forcing my opponent to play very awkwardly in the beginning of the match while the Shuckle sets up.)

Lesson learned: You may technically only need one or two pokemon to win, but bringing a full team of 6 can only help make you more resilient if someone counters your main game plan.
