I got the X27 for Christmas from my lovely wife. I absolutely love it man. My brother and I chopped the nastiest wood with it, knots everywhere in the logs we got, and it works beautifully

They are brilliant splitting axes.
Can use it for hours.

I used to use an old maul, basically a heavy piece of triangle steel welded onto a pipe lol, it does the job but leaves your hands and harms hurting from no impact mitigation. The Fiskars design makes it work just as easy, with out the extra pain lol.

I have the 25 amd 27 . you cant beat them dor the money great axes. Gonna get the 21 as well .

That log isn't exactly a test of an axe.

Snapped that exact axe handle last winter. It was -22c and I missed, over swing and the poor neck hit the edge of a two foot round of rock Maple. Fucking exploded. didn't detach but she's cooked.

They break when they get cold it ruins em plastic gets brittle in the cold!

Man the heads on those are sweet but there's no way to put a hickory handle on it so ill have to pass. Just looking at a plastic or fiberglass handle makes my elbows hurt.
