Join Kaleb from @WyseGuide as he tackles a frequently asked gardening question: When is the ideal season for planting?

According to Kaleb, it depends on your specific situation – do you have the time, the space, and a happy, healthy plant? If you do, "anytime" can be a great time to plant. Just make sure to know when to fertilize, understand the light requirements, and remember to water accordingly. Stick to these basics, and you'll be enjoying your plants all season long.

Whenever Kaleb gets his hands dirty with planting, he always recommends using a quality starter fertilizer like _Espoma Organic_ *Bio-tone Starter Plus.* This ensures your new plants get the nutrients they need to thrive throughout the growing season.

I have a go to local garden center that has a discount section of perennials that have started going dormant. Looks like I'm buying a dying plant but as a gardener-if you know, you know 😄

Thank you!! I have quite a few to put in the ground and was wondering about whether I should use root starter and fertilizer in the Fall. Thank You, you just answered my concerns.😅😊

Root tone surely is hard to find in the stores where I shop. They usually have the other products but root tone is rarely available.

If you haven't yet, can you advise on winterizing tomato plants? In Central Texas and started these from beef tomato bought at the store in August. Growing beautiful but no fruit yet, just wanted to know if winterizing can be done as in pots. Bringing in any plants is not an option. Also a citrus tree outside.
