The plaintiff is way too trusting...someone says they had an incident with your jet skis and say they are taking them to the shop to be fixed and you take them for their word? Nah I'd be taking possession back going to my own shop and sending them the bill

People don't realize that boats, especially jet skis, do not have "brakes" like a car. They easily run into things if you don't know what you are doing.

Never rent a Car, Boat, Jet Ski or anything Mechanical out to a group of 10 adults and expect to get it back same as it was. What we saw were only cosmetic damage, I'm sure there is mechanical damage that the owner is not aware of...or maybe there is...We'll find out in Part 2

A few year ago, my 13 year old son asked if he could go camping with his friend and his family. I spoke to the parents about it and agreed he could go. When they returned home, they wanted $6500 because my son crashed their jetski into a rock. I said....Um you let my 13 year old drive a motor vehicle in the water? How dare you put my son in danger. They got nothing.

I wouldn't even borrow anything like that at all even for free things break accidents happen either you pay up or your an a hole. My snow ski buddy wanted to borrow my brand new (used twice) snow ski "hell NO" He thought I was being tight I told him your going to leave them outside while you get a drink they might get stolen. He was pissed at me lending stiff out is stupid

I would not be surprised if the defendant and/or their friends let their 5+ year olds drive the jetski's and they crashed into each other.

they tore those jet skis up, but i would never allow a random customer to go fix them on their own
