How do these compare to the new made in USA Channellock GS-1X 2Piece 8" & 10" Speedgrip Tongue & Groove Plier Set?

Ok, I'm sold. I have Knipex and Capri, so I'll have to decide. I do feel kinda bummed though, you made me think of how many times I use an adjustable wrench when I reall shouldn't be using one. Need to fix that. Seems like with my welding equipment setup and take down that's where I use those garbage adjustables. This should be an improvement.

These look awesome. I wish I would have seen these before I bought a bunch of adjustable wrenches. They look to be very useful for building maintenance and plumbing because they would not leave tooth marks like Channellock type pliers. I would like to know if people that bought these are happy with it.

How good is the warranty in reality? Read over the form on the website and seemed like there were red flags versus what I now consider to be the best in Tekton.

The only advantage I see for the capri is perhaps easier warranty experience.

If only they were made in Japan like a lot of their klinge pliers. As a Japanese tool addict I would love to see a Japanese pliers wrench from a variety of Japanese manufactures. Those fujiya are nice though

Capris packaging is pretty slick and definitely looks good. Kinpex has a 7 1/4" and a 10" in their Cobra design. I have not tried this style of smooth jaw. I know on the Cobras you can literally stand on it and it just gets tighter and bites harder.
Love to hear a follow up after you have had time to get them dirty.

Harbor Freight has their own Icon Pliers Wrench now, basically a copy of the Knipex from the way it looks. Kind of want to see how they compare to both Knipex and Capri
