It's not the best car for long trips, get over it! It's not for everyone! For many people, this will handle the majority of their driving needs, and for them, it's a pretty smart buy. It would make a great second car for many small families or couples.

The Nissan Leaf doesnt have battery fires and can even power your home in a power outage. You forgot to mention.

I feel these new EV are overpriced because they know that costumers get the 7500$ off and so they overpriced on purpose. it is almost like that 7500$ does not make a different because this Nissan leaf real price should be less than 25000$.

"150 miles range" yeah - as a 2012 LEAF SL owner I strongly encourage potential leaf owners to consider this number inflated by ~2x

my 2012 LEAF SL has an estimated range of 73 miles (mixed driving) and, despite having all 12 battery capacity bars, only ever provided ~35 miles (non-highway driving at that).

Nissan claims my battery is "in good working order" and has not failed badly enough to enable a warranty replacement. Nissan sucks and their warranty is worthless. EV's can and often are great, but I'll never own another Nissan - they don't stand behind their product.
