DDay 82nd Airborne Structure

The 82nd Airborne Division is often remembered as one of the key fighting Divisions on D-Day. But how many of these were actually paratroopers? In this video, we look at the structure and organization of the 82nd Airborne Division on the morning of June 6, 1944, Dday.

You failed to mention the 504th PIR that returned from Italy in April 1944. They were not combat ready for the Normandy operation but were a part one the 82nd non the less.
