adidas TERREX sit down to interview world class climber and Olympic 2024 hopeful Janja Garnbret as she delves into her journey into competition climbing. From not thinking she would ever compete in bouldering to now dominating the IFSC Climbing competition circuit, winning 20 gold medals and becoming the first ever Olympic champion at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Janja has been climbing since the age of 7 and has been winning almost every national and international competition since. Growing up in a non-climbing family and trying multiple sports from a young age, Janja gives us a behind-the-scenes insight into her life growing up, her role models that inspired her climbing and what shaped her career to date to become one of the greatest of all time. 
In this open and honest interview, Janja expresses how climbing makes her feel alive, how it connects her with herself and where she found her confidence and self belief in the playground of sport.

Sharing how she discovered her individuality, her own climbing style and what it means to become a role model to others, Janja's love and passion for her sport shine through.

What really impresses me about Janja is not just her climbing ability. She is so strong mentally. Her mental focus is phenomenal. Her English language skills are also awesome. I think she's maybe the most impressive sportsperson I've seen.
