Install Serial Drivers for ESP32 (macOS, Windows, Linux)

Before you can program the ESP32, you need to install a driver for the USB-to-UART chip. Depending on your board that might be the CH340 or CP210x chip.

man this is frustrating i have 4 boards and i cannot figure out how to flash them at all. i have the file opened it ran it and the wizrard said it cldnt find a drive for it i had it plugged in?

I use Arduino IDE 2.2.1 with 115200 baud, but it didn’t work.
The following works fine, Arduino UNO, UNO R4 WiFi and UNO R2 WiFi

Linux Buster was able to work and recognize both of these chips without any need to install any drivers.
However the issue I'm having is with the latest replacement chip CH9102F... Do you have any information to share with regard to this chip? Thanks!

I installed both the CH340 and CP210X drivers and it's still not working. Any ideas on what might be the problem? Tried different USB cables as well

My boards don't have UART .. ESP32-C3 SuperMini and ESP32-S3 Zero. I tried to refresh Flash Bootloader and now the board is not recognized when connected to USB

how do you install the driver on win10? there's no exe file, only a inf file but when i right click and click install, something pops up, says operation completed, but nothing happens

Hi thanks for your video but I can not get my ESP32 to connect to any of my pc's or laptop's!
I'm running on the latest Windows 10 and Arduino IDE and have added ESP32 to Aruino IDE but port# remains blank.
My ESP32 does not have any chips with CH340 or CP210x numbers. I have installed the Silicon Labs Windows 10 universal driver.
Any help would be most grateful
