Command to type into TERMINAL, copy and paste this:
sudo nvram boot-args="kext-dev-mode=1"

worked for mega board - do not include last " in command in terminal or you get errors!

Before doing the steps from this video, try using a different cable! Some cables are power only, but you need it to transmit data as well.
I had the same problem and I solved it by simply using a different cable.

Thank you! Got it working (while watching this video) by restarting crate agent and restarting Arduino ide on Monterey. 😅

In my case, after install the drivers I still had the same problem. Change the cable that connects the arduino and the pc and it was fixed.
