The wind had calmed down since the maiden flight, so I decided to do some more aggressive flying which may or may not have caused the crash...

Great video tom. That viggen flies great very agile. I dont expect mine to be that agile being its ducted fan. I am going to build another one that is prop driven. Great build and flight. Thanks for sharing

WOW!  The flight was going great, Tom!  Awesome plane!  You should send David a message and let him know that you did crash your Viggen but only the nose was damaged...just like he had it planned.  So....get a new nose built and toss the plane again....upwind this time, lol.  Take care buddy!

Great flight! I installed my 70mm GH fan today. I wasn't able to power it up yet because I need to buy a couple more female bullet connectors and my hobby shop is closed on Mondays. I'll hopefully finish it up this week and then wait on my 4S 3000mAh battery to show up from GH.

A prop motor on a sweet jet? Do you use diesel fuel in your Zippo?

Sorry, but what was the cause of the crash?

Must be heavy to fly that fast - 3 mistakes high is probably over the 400’ limit

That crash wasn't the fault of a downwind start, you did not correct the torque roll !!!
